ضبط بومة نسارية في جنين و إعادتها للطبيعة

The Environmental Quality Authority and the Environmental Police in Jenin Governorate were able to seize a Eurasian eagle-owl that was being offered for sale at a bird shop in the city.

In a press statement on Thursday, January 28, 2021, the Environmental Quality Authority stated that legal measures were taken against the violator in accordance with Law No. 7 of 1999 on the environment and the hunting protection law. Coordination was made with the Palestinian Nature Society to examine the owl before releasing it into nature.

The Eurasian eagle-owl provides significant environmental services to humans, saving countries thousands of dollars by feeding on rodents and reducing their unnatural population growth. It contributes to maintaining ecological balance. The Environmental Quality Authority urged citizens to report such cases and communicate with them to take appropriate measures to preserve biodiversity in Palestine.

تمكنت سلطة جودة البیئة وشرطة البیئة في محافظة جنین من ضبط طائر بومة نساریة كانت معروضة للبیع في محل للطیور في المدينة.

و أشارت سلطة جودة البیئة في بیان صحفي مساء الخمیس 2021/1/28 بأنه تم اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونیة بحق المخالف وفقاً لقانون رقم 7 لسنة 1999 بشأن البیئةوقانون وقایة الصید، و جرى العمل بالتنسیق مع جمعیة طبیعة فلسطین لمعاینة البومة تمھیداً لإطلاقھا في الطبيعة.

ویقدم طائر البومة خدمات بیئیة عظیمة للبشر توفر على الدول آلاف الدولارات، وذلك من خلال تغذیته على القوارض حیث یحد من انتشارھا بالمعدلات الغیر طبیعیة ویساھم في الحفاظ على التوازن البیئي وأھابت سلطة جودة البیئة في المواطنین بالعمل على التبلیغ عن مثل ھذه الحالات والتواصل معھا  لاتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة للحفاظ على التنوع الحیوي في فلسطين.
