Nature Palestine Society works in close partnership with national environmental authorities
to advance wildlife conservation and biodiversity protection through targeted awareness initiatives and wildlife rehabilitation programs. For example, in collaboration with the Environmental Quality Authority, the Environmental Police, the National Zoo, and the Douma Village Council, Nature Palestine Society organized a wildlife release event at the Fasayil Nature Reserve near Douma village. The event marked the return of four Palestinian mountain gazelles and several species of predatory birds to their natural habitat, following their rescue or confiscation. This initiative represents a significant step toward restoring native wildlife populations and reinforces ongoing national efforts to conserve biodiversity and protect Palestine’s natural heritage.---
