The Palestinian Youth Climate Corps recently celebrated the completion of its second cohort, marking another milestone in the Nature Palestine Society’s efforts to empower young Palestinians in climate action and environmental stewardship. This cohort saw 10 graduates who engaged in comprehensive training on climate science, sustainable practices, and advocacy. They successfully developed 8 green environmental projects that address the pressing environmental challenges facing Palestine. By fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and equipping youth with the tools to make a tangible impact, the program has cultivated a new generation of climate leaders committed to building a more sustainable and resilient future for their communities.
تم اختتام مؤخرًا الدورة الثانية من فيلق حماة البيئة مما يمثل علامة فارقة أخرى في جهود جمعية طبيعة فلسطين لتمكين الشباب الفلسطيني في العمل المناخي والإشراف البيئي. وشهدت هذه المجموعة 10 خريجين شاركوا في تدريب شامل حول علوم المناخ والممارسات المستدامة والدعوة. لقد نجحوا في تطوير 8 مشاريع بيئية خضراء تعالج التحديات البيئية الملحة التي تواجه فلسطين. ومن خلال تعزيز الشعور بالمسؤولية البيئية وتزويد الشباب بالأدوات اللازمة لإحداث تأثير ملموس، قام البرنامج بتنمية جيل جديد من قادة المناخ الملتزمين ببناء مستقبل أكثر استدامة ومرونة لمجتمعاتهم.
